Faith, Hope & Love

Welcome!
It's another Tuesday, and I'm here to share with you a card I created for our current challenge over at Twist of Faith Card Challenges.  Our challenges always have the twist of adding a sentiment that is uplifting, encouraging, or a scripture verse!  It's our little way of trying to shine God's love in blog land...and we can all use some love and encouragement from time to time, so why not create a card that blesses someone!

This week we have had the pleasure of being sponsored by...

...and they will be awarding one lucky random winner 7 digis of their choice!  Hooray!

And our challenge this week is a sketch challenge.  Here's the picture for your inspiration...

This sketch was created by our very own team member Hillary!  Didn't she do a terrific job?
Unfortunately Hillary has resigned from our design team as life has become too busy!  We sure hope to see her play along with us from time to time, and wish her all the best!
And while we bid farewell to one Design Team Member...we also take the opportunity to welcome a new one!  Welcome to the fabulously talented Princess!  Be sure to stop by her blog and welcome her!

And now back to the business at hand.  Here is the card I created with the sketch and the awesome digi I chose to work with...The Faith Block.

For some reason, I can never just do the sketch as shown...LOL.  Just like when I go to a card making class, Stamp 'n Up party, etc. I always have to stray from the card template we are to follow!  I chose to flip my card and create it horizontally!  I've colored my image with my Tim Holtz Distress markers.  My patterned papers are all from the Shabbylicious Chic Pinks by Fabscraps!  If you haven't seen this paper...it's absolutely gorgeous!  All of the papers have been inked with a brown ink to give them a more vintage feel.  The image itself has also been matted on a piece of distressed green card stock that I had laying around.  And the final addition to this creation was 3 pearls added to the bottom corner of the card.

Here's a close peek at that awesome digi image...

I just love the message on this beautiful image...it holds such truth!  I'm planning on making several more of these to have on hand as I think they would make beautiful sympathy cards!  I think maybe I'll change up some of the color schemes and see if I can't make a few that are more masculine as well.

So be sure to stop by Twist of Faith this week and link up your creation following the above sketch.  We can't wait to see what you come up with and love visiting all of your blogs!  And don't forget to visit my team mates blogs to see their inspirational takes on this sketch as well!

Until next time...
