Let's Go On A Mini Vacation...

Hello and Welcome Everyone!
I'm back today with another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday...and it's a special one as it's new release day!  This month we are featuring the Italiana Riviera Collection!

It's time to slow down the daily pace, take a deep breath and embrace life with the new Heartfelt Creations Italiana Riviera Collection.  We invite you to stroll down the Italian coastline taking in the spectacular seaside views, open markets, and amazing architecture while allowing yourself to relax and get lost in an easy going way of life.  Feel the gentle breeze, breathe in the aromas of salty mist and mouthwatering eats as you pass by a harbour lined with delightful cafes and quaint little shops calling out to you to pause for a visit. Step through towering stone gates to meander through perfectly manicured vineyards boasting rows and rows of coiling vines filled with dense foliage and  plump clusters of exquisitely purple hued grapes.  Then as the sun sets, continue to take in the old world charm and beauty of the area as you relax in your villa, enjoying a glass of fine wine aged to perfection while jotting down all of the days wonderful adventures on an old fashioned postcard, pausing occasionally only to peer out the old stone window that reveals the most surreal view of lush gardens, stately mountains, beautiful flowers and that perfectly manicured vineyard.  At Heartfelt Creations we dismiss the misconceived notion that you are required to leave your craft room to experience the finer things in life...so come along with us as we invite you to explore the charm and elegance of the Italiana Riviera Collection!

Now I've never been to Italy, however I have been to several vineyards and wineries here in Canada while in the Niagra Fall and Niagra on the Lake region.  The rows and rows of grapes hanging beautifully clustered among the lush green foliage was absolutely stunning, and this new stamp, paper and die collection has really been able to bring back those fun memories for me.  The wine tasting, the lovely lunch that was served on our tour...and the small step stool that appeared for people to load the tour van midway through the tour! Some of the tourists really really enjoyed their wine!  LOL

Well, when I first saw this newest release, the first thing that popped into my mind was to create a wine bottle.  I knew that I had such a cutting file that I had purchased from SVG Cuts.  So I got busy cutting, gluing and here's the finished product...

This wine bottle is actually a lantern in which you can use a flame less tea light.  It can also double as a unique gift package.  I decided to create a matching tag which is so quick and easy to do with the tag images and dies from Heartfelt Creations.

Here's a look at the bottle and how it opens...

...and lastly a closer look at the details on the tag...

Well, that's all for me today!
You can find all of the instructions listed below should you be interested in making such a creation yourself.  However, don't let your mini vacation stop here...you must journey on to the Heartfelt Creations blog where you will be treated to many more beautiful sites of the Italiana Riviera Collection!

Until next time...
